Tasting notes
Medium-bodied, bright and elegantly textural, the 2019 Puligny-Montrachet (Maison Louis Jadot) evokes aromas of white peach, flowers and baking spices. It's a lively, open and expressive white that will show well out of the gates.

The 2019 Puligny-Montrachet Village, which may later be blended with some declassified Premier Cru, has a fragrant nose; scents of Granny Smith apples and flint gently unfolding from the glass. The palate is well balanced with a sharp, malic opening. Good energy here; missing a little persistence, but that might be remedied with the addition of subsequent lots.
About the producer

Louis Jadot is arguably the most consistent négociant house in Burgundy. It has managed to straddle both the entry-level and fine wine market, while retaining respect in both.
