Tasting notes
Bright yellow-gold. Pungent, deeply pitched orchard and pit fruit aromas are lifted and sharpened by a mineral nuance and a suave floral note. Smoky and broad on the palate, offering ripe pear and peach nectar flavors and a hint of honey. Succulent herb and ginger qualities come up with air, along with an exotic touch of mango. Plush and weighty yet surprisingly lively, finishing with excellent clarity and length and an echoing floral note.

Every bit as good as the 2012, the 2013 Hermitage Domaine des Tourettes Blanc is 100% Marsanne that spent 12 months in 100% new French oak. Full-bodied, concentrated and layered, with subtle vanilla, honeyed citrus and mint, it has awesome purity, a big mid-palate and rock-star length. It too will have two decades or more of longevity.
