Tasting notes
The 2014 Châteauneuf du Pape Prestige is slightly more straight and focused than the Reserve cuvée and offers lots of black cherries, currants, blackberries and garrigue (with some leather as well) in a concentrated, fresh style. It needs 2-3 years of cellaring and will keep through 2026.

Vivid ruby. Ripe red berry and peppery spice aromas complicated by floral and garrigue nuances. Juicy, broad and powerful on the palate, offering lively raspberry and bitter cherry flavors that slowly become sweeter with air. Smooth, seamless and spicy on the very long, floral finish, which is shaped by supple tannins that fade smoothly into the energetic red fruit.
