Tasting notes
Bursting with aromas of minty nectarine, white flowers and grapefruit, the 2020 Les Hauts de Smith Blanc is medium to full-bodied, fleshy and charming, with an ample mid-palate that's girdled by bright balancing acids. As usual, it's entirely Sauvignon Blanc.

Starting off the whites, the 2020 Les Hauts De Smith Blanc is all Sauvignon and has a bright, crisp, medium-bodied style as well as textbook notes of white grapefruit, lemon pitch, and chalky minerality. Fresh and focused, with terrific precision, yet also good concentration, this is another beautiful white in the vintage that will be incredibly versatile on the dinner table.
The 2020 Les Hauts de Smith Blanc, pure Sauvignon Blanc as usual, has an attractive peach skin and honeysuckle bouquet, quite open with Nashi pear aromas surfacing with time. The palate is well-balanced with a slightly honeyed texture, pear and white peach, lightly spiced towards the finish. Fine.
