Score 91/100 · Drink 2025-2032, Yohan Castaing, Wine Advocate, Mar 2025
Oakier than expected, the 2022 Cap St George reveals a deep, complex bouquet of spices, dark berries and cassis mingled with toasty notes. Medium to full-bodied, concentrated and generously extracted, it's densely framed by structured tannins, culminating in a long, spicy finish. This blend of 80% Merlot, 11% Cabernet Franc and 9% Cabernet Sauvignon should age well over the next decade.

Violet plum colour, intense dark fruits, edges of charcoal and grilled oak, with blackberry and loganberry fruit. Concentrated, this has character and impact, with a flash of heat. Jean-Francois Janeouix owner.
