A real success and an attractive wine, the 2022 Lune d'Or exhibits aromas of verbena, lemon oil, anise and jasmine, followed by a moderately weighted, juicy and fresh palate with bright acids and a saline, mouthwatering finish. It's a blend of 70% Sauvignon Blanc and 30% Sémillon.

Ripe melon, honeyed mint, flowers, and chalky minerality all shine in the 2022 Clos Des Lunes Lune D'Or Blanc, another gorgeous example of this cuvée that's medium to full-bodied, has a concentrated, elegant mouthfeel, remarkable purity, and a great finish. It might be the finest vintage I've tasted of this cuvée, and it’s a serious white that’s going to age gracefully. Based on 70% Semillon and 30% Sauvignon Blanc, it will benefit from a year or two of bottle age and evolve nicely over the following decade.
Lots of lemon and lime character, as well as crushed stone. It’s full and layered with brightness and freshness. Excellent energy here.
