Tasting notes
Solid stuff, the 2022 Château Tour De Pez offers darker currants, smoky tobacco, and earthy, leathery nuances. Medium-bodied and beautifully balanced, it has ripe yet present tannins and good length on the finish. This hidden little gem is well worth following over the coming decade. Drink 2025-2035.

The 2022 Tour de Pez has a slightly rustic nose and is quite earthy in style, though it lacks the cohesion of its peers. The palate is medium-bodied with light tannins and simple black fruit, but it doesn't really kick on towards the finish. Par for the course.
Medium bodied, on the lighter side of St Estèphe in the 2022 vintage, has a juicy sign off, good ripe red fruits. This is a great high quality sector of St Estèphe, and they delivering an excellent-quality wine, ready to drink. Allianz owners, as with Arnauld, Larose Trintaudon/Perganson in Haut-Médoc, Franck Bijon director, 26hl/h yield after hail, 50% new ok, gravel and clay-limestone soils. Hubert de Boüard consultant.
