2022 Trianon

Lovely stuff, the 2022 Château Trianon has charming red and black fruits, medium body, a round, layered, lush mouthfeel, and sweet tannins, all making for a delicious, hard-to-resist 2022 that will keep for a decade.

The 2022 Trianon has some slight Brett on the nose that, though not too strong, sits just behind the red berry fruit. The palate is medium-bodied and balanced with firm tannins, though it needs more flesh and lacks a bit of precision on the powdery finish.

A rich, dark-fruited nose of blackberries, dark chocolate, vanilla and cedar. Some earthy notes, too. Medium- to full-bodied, this shows firm tannins with impressive depth and length. Firm, minerally finish. Drink from 2028.
