The 2017 Marsau, with only 10 hectoliters per hectare produced, mingles aromas of gooseberries, blueberries and peony flowers with earthy notes. Juicy and perfectly balanced, it has a medium to full-bodied structure and finishes very fresh. It’s a charming and ethereal wine.

The 2017 Marsau, 14-hectares on clay soil, offers light brambly red fruit on the nose that lacks a little depth and concentration compared to other vintages. The palate is medium-bodied with grainy tannin, sharp on the entry with quite high acidity, leading to a straightforward, slightly austere finish.

Deep cherry red. Fragrant with dark-red fruit and a touch of violets. Seems open and expressive already. Smooth and generous, full of juicy fruit but with firm structure, nicely built and balanced.
