Tasting notes
Shimmering ruby-red. A highly fragrant bouquet evokes fresh red berries, potpourri and baking spices, and a smoky mineral quality builds in the glass. Lively, spice-accented raspberry, cherry and floral pastille flavors display excellent precision and building sweetness. Unfurls slowly with aeration, gaining depth and finishing with fine definition, even tannins and strong, red-fruit-driven persistence.

A super peppery edge to the nose here with blackberries and red plums, leading to a very polished and plush, smoothly rendered palate. Great depth and richness. Drink or hold.
Paringa Estate owns 60 acres and also buys in. Small yield. This entry-level wine got a gold in a Pinot challenge apparently! Aromatic and pleasing. Very fresh, leafy nose. Violets. (JR)
