Tasting notes
The 2018 Meursault Les Tillets is the best of Labet’s whites in this vintage, presenting a bouquet of citrus fruit, freshly tilled soil and light waxy aromas. The palate is well balanced with a fine bead of acidity, fresh and focused. The tangy, almost marmalade-tinged finish leaves almond on the aftertaste. Very fine.

Offering up aromas of crisp green pear, orange oil, apricot and fresh bread, the 2018 Meursault Les Tillets is medium-bodied, bright and incisive, with a delicate core of fruit, racy acids and a precise, nicely defined finish. Tightly wound today, especially by the standards of the vintage, I'd love to revisit it with a few years' bottle age.
Tight with lots of acidity and a spearmint note. Notably refreshing! A little drying on the end. Quite demanding. (JR)
