Toasty and dark fruited. Lots of pure cassis fruit, upright but fine-grained tannins. Juicy in the middle and then pretty dry on the finish. Wait. (JH)

This property was hit by the hail storm of September 1, and the final blend of 60% Merlot and 40% Cabernet Sauvignon displays a tightly-knit, clipped, tart feel. It will likely become desiccated by 7-10 years of age.

40% Cabernet Sauvignon, 60% Merlot. Rich crimson. Intense blackcurrant fruit on the nose. Then much lighter on the palate. Not too dry but lacks depth. (JH)
