The 2002 Saint-Aubin 1er Cru En Remilly has a very elegant nose, so fresh after 15 years with hints of white asparagus and dried quince. Palate is very well balanced with wonderful salinity, fresh and long with a tang so spice on the aftertaste that conveys energy and terroir. I slightly preferred the 2010 poured alongside (blind) but this Saint-Aubin serves as a pertinent reminder of how its wines can repay cellaring. Tasted at the domaine with Olivier Lamy.
