Score 87-89/100 · Drink 2019-2027, Neal Martin, Wine Advocate, Apr 2017
The 2016 La Fleur de Roy has a straightforward, quite rich bouquet with kirsch and cassis aromas, simple but there is a sense of control here. The palate is medium-bodied with edgy tannin, clean black fruit, nice freshness and energy with a short but detailed finish. It is a well-made Pomerol that should drink well over the next 5-7 years.
