Tasting notes
Drink 0-0, David Schildknecht, Vinous

Peach, lemon, woodsmoke and wet stones on the nose. Firm, even slightly severe on the palate, combining fuzzy peach, tart lemon, distilled pit fruit esters and pungent smokiness. The severity is ameliorated by gloss and creaminess of texture and subtle, supportive sweetness. The finish displays superb length and polish, leaving intense impressions of lemon zest and wet stone without veering in the direction of bitterness or dryness. Potential 2 stars.
