2019 Chassagne Montrachet Morgeot

The 2019 Chassagne-Montrachet Morgeots 1er Cru, which comes from the La Grande Borne lieu-dit, has a generous, eucalyptus-tinged bouquet. The palate is well balanced with a powerful opening, quite rounded in texture with touches of ginger stem and orange rind. Maybe it could benefit from a little more tension on the finish but there is certainly decent length here.
