Tasting notes
The 2020 Chardonnay Cuvée Louisa Goldrock Estate, matured in 45% new oak, features ringing tones of jasmine to begin before blossoming to scents of spring butter, panna cotta, quince and yellow apple. The light-bodied palate combines bright, juicy acidity with a luxuriously satiny texture. It has loads of floral perfume and a very long, layered, shimmery finish. 246 cases were made.

Distinctive, intense and vibrant, with orange sherbet, mango and citrus blossom notes that show a drizzle of wildflower honey, with a hint of sea salt and crunchy, juicy Fuji apple flavors on the long finish. Drink now. 250 cases made.
The 2020 Chardonnay Cuvée Louisa Goldrock Estate, from Paul Hobbs' vineyard in Annapolis, is a wild, exotic wine. Lemon confit, sage, mint, butter and tropical accents give the 2020 its distinctive, effusive personality. There is a bit of edginess that lurks beneath. Because of that, I would prefer to drink the 2020 on the earlier side.
