Tasting notes
The 2020 Pinot Blanc is pure and refined on the nose that indicates ripe, elegant and slightly flinty fruit. Very elegant on the palate, this is a medium-bodied, lush and elegant, really ripe but structured and saline Pinot with substance and expression. 13.5% stated alcohol. Natural cork. Tasted at the domaine in May 2022.

Full Diam-5-stoppered bottle 1,350 g. Certified organic and biodynamic. 70% Pinot Auxerrois, 30% Pinot Blanc. Older vines in the monopole Clos des Capucins vineyard composed of sand-silt soil on granite pebbles. Aged for nine months in old oak vats. Real lift on the nose and depth on the palate. Much more interesting than the two co-op examples of Pinot Blanc tasted at the same time – and also a bit more expensive… But great vibrant, thrilling flavour. A hint of something floral here. (JR)
Who could resist this succulent dry pinot blanc with tons of fresh-pineapple aroma, but also delicate garden-pea freshness. Good concentration on the medium body, the finish long and lively. From biodynamically grown grapes with Demeter certification. Drink now.
