Tasting notes
Bright ruby-red. Energetic aromas of raspberry and cherry pit are accented by peppery spices and flowers. Ripe red and dark berry and floral pastille flavors are complemented by a touch of smokiness that builds in the glass. Finishes spicy and taut, the cherry and smoke notes repeating.

Vivid ruby. A highly perfumed bouquet evokes red fruit liqueur, incense and spicecake. Shows deeper, darker fruit qualities on the palate, with gently sweet black raspberry and boysenberry flavors braced by juicy acidity. Finishes smooth and very long, with resonating spiciness and even, harmonious tannins.
Vineyard soil: galets, sand. Lieu-dit: Crau, Font de Michelle. 30% Grenache Blanc, 30% Clairette, 30% Roussanne, 10% Bourboulenc. Very pale. Very tense with lots of gas. Going for the refreshment factor! Not that much flavour though… (JR)
