Tasting notes
The 2019 Rully Blanc has a crisp, well defined, slightly earthy bouquet with light lime and green apple scents. The palate is taut and fresh on the entry, underpinned by a fine bead of acidity and with plenty of salinity on the finish. This is a lovely Rully, even though the fireworks are reserved for Dureuil-Janthials Premier Crus.

From a number of parcels around the appellation, the oldest among them planted in 1920, Dureuil's 2019 Rully Blanc is lovely, mingling aromas of crisp orchard fruit and white peach with hints of blanched almonds and white flowers. Medium-bodied, chiseled and concentrated, with tangy acids and a mouthwateringly saline finish, this will be delicious out of the gates—though don't discount its capacity to age, as examples from the late 1990s are drinking brilliantly today.
