Six months in used barrique. Deep crimson. Heady nose. Exciting, luscious wine with real energy. Very flattering Barbera without being simple or sweet. Quite dense! No new oak, and seemingly much the better for it. Long. GV (JR)

The 2021 Barbera d'Alba is fabulous. Rich and explosive, the 2021 is packed with inky dark fruit, spice, mocha, new leather and licorice. This flamboyant, racy Barbera is sure to be a crowd pleaser. I loved it.
