The 2018 Monferrato Rosso Pin, La Spinetta's Nebbiolo/Barbera blend, is terrific. Soft and quite open, the Pin offers the aromatic presence of Nebbiolo with a touch of mid-palate sweetness from the Barbera. It’s a combination that works so well. The 2018 is not a big wine, but it is immensely delicious and nicely done, especially for a year that was so challenging.

A blend of Nebbiolo with some Barbera, the La Spinetta 2018 Monferrato Rosso Pin reveals a pretty and lasting bouquet with a prominent theme of red roses and dried flowers.
