2019 Rothenberg GG

It’s hard to prise apart the floral, herbal and mineral nuances which make up a fragrance so sophisticated that you even fail to spot the final olfactory component, derived from oak contact. But it is there on the palate, with the taste of apricot, mandarin and a gently bitter notion. It may not need the wood, but it’s certainly been applied in the best possible taste. (MS)
