The 2020 Bourgogne Pinot Noir bursts with aromas of red berries, plums and spices. Medium-bodied, bright and concentrated, with powdery tannins and lively acids, it's a fine effort.

From vines located in Chorey-lès-Beaune, the 2020 Bourgogne Pinot Noir Vieilles Vignes was picked on 1 September and is 50% whole cluster fruit. It has quite a bold nose for a Bourgogne Pinot Noir with blackberry, black plum and a touch of cassis, lifted by the 25% new oak. The palate is ripe and rounded on the entry, quite sweet with a gentle grip, silky smooth with a touch of black pepper on the finish that is just missing a little tension.
