The 2018 Saint-Romain Village has a simple green apple and light peach skin bouquet, pretty if missing a little intensity. The palate is well balanced with elderflower cordial and light peachy notes on the entry and a straightforward, easygoing finish.

The 2018 Saint-Romain (Maison Louis Jadot) is a pretty young wine, bursting from the glass with notes of citrus zest, honeysuckle and fresh pastry. On the palate, it's medium to full-bodied, tensile and precise, with a mouthwateringly mineral finish.
About the producer

Louis Jadot
Louis Jadot is arguably the most consistent négociant house in Burgundy. It has managed to straddle both the entry-level and fine wine market, while retaining respect in both.
