Tasting notes
The sexy 2019 Châteauneuf-du-Pape packs 50% Grenache, 30% Mourvèdre, 15% Syrah and 5% Cinsaut. It showcases attractive cooked black fruits, black olives, cured meat and a floral, crushed rose petal lift. Full-bodied and round, this delicious 2019 red is enveloped by soft tannins and kept in check by bright acidity. Finishes distinctively savory.

The 2019 Châteauneuf Du Pape comes from La Crau and a few other terroirs and is 60% Grenache and 40% Mourvèdre. Blackberries, black raspberries, peppery herbs, and some solid earthy minerality give way to a medium to full-bodied, ripe, yet also structured 2019. Some 2019s can have a touch of austerity in their tannins, but this is supple and seamless. It will evolve for 10-15 years.
