Very good medium-dark red. Aromatic nose of currant, tobacco and leather; seems cleaner than the last three wines. Supple, smoky and gamey in the mouth; fairly large-scaled. This is quite tasty, but the tannins are fairly rustic. A vintage with high alcohol and a high pH.
