Score 87/100 · Drink 2001-2003, Robert Parker, Jun 2001
A delicious, fruity, exuberant, zesty Valpolicello offers notes of black cherries intermixed with crushed almonds and dried herbs. It possesses an excellent texture as well as elegant, medium-bodied flavors crammed with fruit and character. No wood is noticeable, the tannin is sweet, and the acidity is unobtrusive. Drink it over the next 1-2 years. Importer: A Leonardo LoCascio Selection, Winebow Inc., Hohokus, NJ; tel. (201) 445-0620
