Score 86/100 · Robert Parker, Aug 1997
The least expensive of the current offerings is the 1996 Valpolicella Classico, a spicy, cherry/strawberry-scented, elegant wine with medium body, good fruit, and a soft, round texture. This personality-filled Valpolicella is ideal for drinking over the next several years with seafood or veal dishes. This estate has greatly improved the quality of its wines over the last few years , and I am becoming increasingly fond of their entire portfolio of Valpolicellas .
