Score 91/100 · Drink 2022-2042, Stephan Reinhardt, Wine Advocate, Dec 2022
The 2021 Ried Loibenberg Loibner Riesling Federspiel opens with clear, concentrated and aromatic dried stone fruit. Elegant and juicy on the palate, this is quite an animating, spicy-piquant Riesling without being deep. A rather small Riesling from a great site. Tasted at Schloss Dürnstein, Wachau, in September 2022.

For a medium-bodied dry riesling, this approaches the optimum. Very fine nose of peach and persimmon, together with touches of blood orange and fresh basil. Stunning interplay of fruit, racy acidity and wet-stone minerality. Breathtaking depth and vitality at the very long finish. Drink or hold.
