The 2021 Château du Tertre Blanc has an unusual blend: 38% Gros Manseng, 25% Viognier, 25% Sauvignon Blanc and 12% Chardonnay, due to the frost affecting the latter. It has an intense nose, almost Alsace-like, featuring lime, lychee and touches of elderflower, all very aromatic. The palate is well balanced with a touch of ginger on the entry, quite Alsace-like (again), spiced and lively with a tang of marmalade on the finish.

An unusual white that is thoroughly enjoyable in 2021. Love the rich depths, nuanced and powerful of the whites, clear white flowers, white mango, white pear, tons of texture and spice. This is a briliant wine that has salinty and texture, along with green apple acidity, and pulls you back in just when you think the flavours are going to stop. Brilliant stuff, a balance of sharp and sweet.

Vivid aromas of white stone fruit, grapefruit and acacia, showing fine density, concentration and vibrancy. A Vin de France due to the non-traditional grapes in a blend of Gros Manseng, Sauvignon Blanc, Viognier and 12% Chardonnay, fermented in stainless steel and aged in 228-liter and 500-liter barrels with lees stirring once a week. An excellent wine.

Sliced apples, pears, green melon and white peaches with some flint. Full-bodied, with lots of exotic fruit including mango, lemons and lime. A blend of chardonnay, viognier, sauvignon blanc, and gros manseng. Drink now.
