2017 Cotes du Rhone L'Emouvante

A cuvée of exclusively syrah from up on the plateau that sees an extended, post-ferment maceration (five months here). Distinctive, deeply set pepper, spice, cured meat and blackberries on the nose. The palate is very dense, very juicy and very plush with such fine and keenly articulated tannins that carry a long, succulent finish. Super rich and plush. No sulfur added. Cellar carefully. Drink or hold.
