Tasting notes
Deep magenta. A highly complex, deeply perfumed bouquet evokes red and blue fruit preserves, candied flowers, incense, sassafras and Moroccan spices. Impressively concentrated and expansive yet vibrant on the palate, offering mineral-tinged, sappy black raspberry, blueberry, cherry cola, lavender and spicecake flavors that show superb clarity and mineral thrust. Delivers a compelling blend of power and finesse, closing with emphatic, floral- and spice-driven tenacity and slowly building, polished tannins that lend discreet grip.

The 2018 Pinot Noir Antikythera has deep cranberry and blueberry aromas, with nuances of violet, licorice and orange peel. The palate is silty and delicate with intense, layered flavors and a long, pure finish.
More structure than the Ceras, black cherry, black plum, dark compost, spice, medium fine-grained tannin… the slightest edge of something bretty, fresh composting manure with leaves and cedar. (SCJ)
