Score 16.5/20 · Drink 2024-2030, Tamlyn Currin, jancisrobinson.com, May 2021
Tank sample taken on 13 April 2021. Dark purple and ripe and scented. Surprisingly plush and juicy, loaded with creamy blackcurrant fruit and vanilla toast. Throat-warming finish. Quite seductive, although I suspect the alcohol is quite high. It will be ready to drink relatively early and easy to love. The 2017 sells for around £20 per bottle, retail, which makes this really VGV . (TC)

Plenty of blackberry, chocolate and some walnut undertones. It?s medium-to full-bodied with ripe, round tannins and a juicy finish. Should pull more together in the elevage.
