Tasting notes
The 2019 Meursault 1er Cru Les Gouttes d'Or mingles aromas of citrus oil and pear with hints of fresh bread and pastry cream. Medium to full-bodied, bright and lively, it's concentrated and mineral, with a tightly coiled core and a racy spine of acidity. This is another Bouchard Meursault that's impressively tensile in this ripe white Burgundy vintage.

The 2019 Meursault Les Gouttes d’Or 1er Cru has a harmonious bouquet with a more floral aspect than the Boucheres, hints of yellow plum and peach developing with aeration. The palate is well balanced, offering a tang of marmalade on the entry, and a little more saline than the Boucheres, with good length on the finish. This will end up at the top of my banded score.
