Tasting notes
The 2019 Chablis Blanchot Grand Cru has a well-defined, tensile bouquet of citrus fruit infused with with struck flint; hints of wild peach and yellow flowers emerge with aeration. The palate is medium-bodied with tangy orange peel on the entry and fine depth and acidity, gently fanning out to a wonderfully composed and quite persistent finish. Great potential, but it needs 4–5 years in bottle.

The 2019 Chablis Grand Cru Blanchot wafts from the glass with notes of orange oil, crisp yellow orchard fruit, white flowers and nutmeg. Full-bodied, fleshy and textural, with a deep and layered core, racy acids and a long, saline finish, it's a real success.
