NV Michter's 10YO - Rye Whiskey (46.4%)

As the nose opens up, there’s a pleasant marriage of sweet, spice, and earth, augmented by a crack of black pepper, slightly burnt toast, clementine, and torched orange peel. But the nose is fairly reticent at first, so it takes some time to coax these flavors out. Pickle pops out on what is otherwise a modest palate—notes of dill spear and fresh pickle juice linger alongside ripe apricot and more black pepper. Chocolate comes forth on the finish, which is fairly short.
