The 1993 Brut Grand Vintage Collection is an excellent choice for readers who want to enjoy a mature Champagne. Apricot, peach, dried pears, wild flowers, honey and almonds all meld together in a rich, sumptuous Champagne with gorgeous burnished overtones and tons of complexity. Although close to full maturity in its flavors, the 1993 still has considerable textural depth, power and richness. Much of the wine's personality comes from the heavy use of Pinot at Moët during this era and aging on the cork. Disgorged November 2011.

There is a lot to like in Moët's 1993 Brut Grand Vintage Collection. Pastry, apricots, butter, yellow peaches, spices and smoke literally burst from the glass as this exuberant Champagne shows off its considerable charms. Rich, round and textured, the 1993 is also beautifully focused and bright throughout. Readers looking for a serious Champagne with some age on it at a price that won't break the bank should check out Moët's 1993 Grand Vintage Collection. It is gorgeous.
