Score 91/100 · Drink 2022-2038, William Kelley, Wine Advocate, Jan 2020
An step up over the domaine's regular bottling, the 2018 Meursault Vendanges Sélectionnées reveals aromas of crisp green pear, white flowers, beeswax and smoke. It's medium to full-bodied, with more depth and tension, concluding with a chalky finish. As usual, this cuvée derives from parcels that touch Santenots.

Below Les Santenots du Milieu. Vines 65–70 years, two parcels. 35 cm soil and then hard limestone. Barrel sample. Spicy and rich on the nose but rich in a minerally sort of way. Gently honeyed citrus. Power and intensity with a cedary spice on the long finish. Power, freshness and generosity but elegantly built. (JH)
