The 2011 Corton-Bressandes from Remi Poisot has an understated, very natural, light but beautifully defined bouquet with leafy red berry fruit. The palate is medium-bodied with a touch of bell pepper on the entry. The tannins are quite fine and there is a pleasant, light red currant and cranberry note on the finish that lingers for just the right amount of time. This approachable Corton-Bressandes should drink well for the next 8 to 10 years. Tasted May 2013.
