Score 91-93/100 · Stephen Tanzer, Vinous, Sep 2015
(finished its malo first, in December): Pale, bright yellow. Reticent but pure nose offers high-pitched notes of lemon oil, quinine and iodine, plus a Riesling-like suggestion of petrol. Dense, dry and light on its feet, conveying a saline complexity to the flavors of crushed rock, quinine, mint and brown spices. A floral element contributes to the impression of weightlessness. Finishes very dry, tactile and serious, with a repeating spice quality. This was the last parcel to be picked in 2014, with potential alcohol of only 12%, noted Morey.
