Score 92/100 · Drink 2021-2027, Stephan Reinhardt, Wine Advocate, Mar 2021
Vacheron's white 2018 Sancerre is deep, intense and fresh on the nose, which exhibits ripe tropical fruit aromas intertwined with notes of crushed flint stones. Full-bodied, round and complex on the palate, with remarkable power, salinity and length, this is an extraordinarily compact and sustainable generic Sancerre from a very warm and sunny vintage. Biodynamic production. Tasted in February 2021.

About the producer

Domaine Vacheron
Certified biodynamic, Domaine Vacheron is one of the star names in Sancerre. The estate crafts Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir from single sites, using low yields and Burgundy-inspired winemaking to produce exceptionally pure, age-worthy expressions of the region that are some of its best.
