Wow, that is a show-stopping nose! Meat, cherry, bacon, smoke with smooth-grained tannin and vivid black fruit. A total delight – so well made. A star. (RH)

A 50-50 blend of Marsanne and Roussanne that was matured in steel and barrel, the 2016 Crozes Hermitage Blanc is medium to full-bodied but largely neutral. It shows a fine, rich texture, but flavor-wise it's entirely too modest, offering only hints of citrus and spice.

50% Marsanne, 50% Roussanne. Clove and vanilla spice, soft palate with floury texture. Dry, smooth, rounded palate with quite a warm finish. (RH)
