Tasting notes
(fermented in tronconic oak vats and aged in barriques and demi-muids , most of them used) Bright ruby-red. Expressive aromas of black raspberry, cherry compote and candied lavender are enlivened by a smoky mineral topnote. Appealingly sweet and focused on the palate, offering juicy red and blue fruit flavors that spread out slowly with aeration. Shows hints of candied licorice and five-spice powder on the very long, nervy finish, which features silky tannins and resonating florality.

Leading off the 2015s from bottle, the 2015 Vacqueyras is another great wine from the appellation, and Vacqueyras is an undeniable success in this vintage. Possessing darker fruits, peppery herbs, licorice and a touch of rocky minerality, it’s medium to full-bodied, has impressive purity of fruit and good acidity. It’s going to drink nicely through 2025.
A 60-40 Grenache-Syrah blend from near Sarrians, the 2015 Vacqueyras combines lovely ripe cherries with tarry, plummy notes. It's medium to full-bodied, with a long, supple finish and should drink well for up to decade.
(fermented in large oak vats and then aged in concrete tanks) Brilliant ruby. Highly perfumed aromas of ripe red berries, garrigue , incense and smoky minerals. Sappy, seamless and sweet on the palate, offering intense raspberry and cherry liqueur and lavender flavors and a spicy suggestion of white pepper. Spreads out slowly and becomes sweeter on the finish, which features rounded tannins and an echo of candied flowers.
