The 2014 Candle Stick is an outstanding blend of 62% Syrah and 38% Grenache aged 18 months in 95% French oak and 5% American oak. Spice box, dried pepper, currants, and dried flowers all give way to a medium-bodied, supple, beautifully textured wine that stays light and balanced on the palate. It has loads of character and is well worth checking out.
