2015 Puligny Montrachet Les Demoiselles

Bright rich yellow. Very ripe but not sloppy on the nose, offering scents of orange oil and clove. Densely packed but youthfully backward in the context of the vintage, offering a satisfying combination of inner-mouth energy and glyceral texture. A bit oakier in the early going than the Chenevottes but perhaps with greater potential. Finishes with a positive suggestion of soil.
