Tasting notes
Bottled. The whites are singing this evening: intensely fresh and vibrant citrus fruit but with a suggestion of depth and creamy texture even on the nose. Mouth-watering freshness. (JH)

The 2016 Chassagne Montrachet Villages has an attractive bouquet with scents of dried honey and nutmeg, nicely defined if missing just a little horsepower. The palate is medium-bodied with attractive orange pith and peachy fruit, quite forward and approachable, clean and pure and thankfully not showing much signs of the frost damage.
