Score 93/100 · Drink 2022-2040, William Kelley, Wine Advocate, Nov 2019
The 2016 Pommard 1er Cru Les Epenots is also showing well, wafting from the glass with an incipiently complex bouquet of cherries, raspberries, dark chocolate, rich soil tones and a classy framing of new oak. On the palate, the wine is medium to full-bodied, with lively acids, fine-grained but youthfully chalky tannins and good persistence on the finish. This is an elegant Epenots with a fine future ahead of it.
