Tasting notes
Tasteful opulence defines the character of this Auslese. As the nose unfolds, it’s already beginning to release a seductive fragrance of exotic fruit, which does not lack in freshness despite its opulent expression. A hint of lanolin gives evidence of clean botrytis. The rich flavour of succulent passionfruit and pineapple is further enhanced by nuances of marzipan, creamy texture and a generous residual sweetness complete the hedonistic experience. It’s just as well that there is a delightfully vibrant acidity, which takes care of an animated finish. (MS)
