Tasted blind. 40% Cinsault, 60% Grenache. RS < 1 g/l, pH 3.37. 30-year-old vines. Stainless steel. Direct pressing. Super-pale onion-skin colour. A light veil of smokiness over fresh rhubarb. Savoury rather than sweet – creamy almonds with a feather brush of nectarine and spice on a palate flooded with morning light. Fine, fine balance. On tiptoe. Hard to pin down … almost diaphanous, and yet there is a tightly wired intensity. (TC)

The 2017 Prestige Rosé is another beautiful rosé from this estate. Spice, underbrush, cherries, citrus blossom and beautiful minerality all emerge from the glass and it’s rich, yet also fresh and crisp. It's a food rosé to drink over the coming year. It’s a blend of 60/40 Grenache and Cinsault aged in tank.
The 2017 Languedoc Rose Prestige is a blend of Grenache and Cinsault. It's medium-bodied, crisp and clean, offering up plenty of peach and melon fruit and closing on modest citrus notes. Apr 2018, www.robertparker.com
